All of us are Fine Art Printmakers, and make work that is original in both concept and construction. Between us we use a wide range of printmaking techniques, both traditional and contemporary, often in combination, and sometimes embracing non-print techniques during development and experimentation.

A particular focus of our collaborative work has been projects with museums and galleries. In recent years we have looked in particular for opportunities to research and respond creatively to collections. We have undertaken residencies with Bradford Museums & Galleries, responding to collections at the Bradford Industrial Museum and at Cliffe Castle, both of which which culminated in successful and well received exhibitions at those venues, and we have other similar projects in the pipeline.
INKERS is a group of independent contempory printmakers based in West Yorkshire, who have been working together since 2000. Members pursue successful independent practices as exhibiting artists, educators & writers, and come together to collaborate, exhibit and share practice.
During the past 20 years, the group has welcomed exciting contemporary printmakers from around Yorkshire working with a wide range of print techniques, including etching, drypoint, collagraph, screenprint, relief and photogravure. Several members have been recipients of awards and national/international project funding.
