I grew up and studied in London. I work with a variety of media, but have worked mainly as a printmaker since moving to Yorkshire 20 years ago. I worked as Technical Manager at West Yorkshire Print Workshop for four years, and taught there and at other Art Establishments, as well as working in Community Arts.

My work has been exhibited widely in Yorkshire, and in Manchester and London. "The subject matter always takes precedence, before deciding on the medium to work it in, and within printmaking, which technique. This can take a lot of thinking and experimenting before embarking on the final work. " My sources for subjects are far reaching, from the art of automatism, using unconscious levels like the surrealists, to the direct observation of the natural and man-made world.
